Outreach
The Outreach Committee works to increase our church's name awareness, offer functions that make it easy for our members to be invitational, and give to
those less fortunate. Some of our recent accomplishments: Winter Blast! This is primarily an event for families with younger children. A program, special guests, a craft round out the Blast! We also collect blankets and stuffed animals for the Caldonia Fire Department. (Serve & Connect) Visitor Lunches - Our members invite a guest to the worship service and then enjoy lunch together provided by our committee (Serve, Strengthen & Connect) Vacation Bible School - Area children join us for a time of education and fun. (Serve, Strengthen & Connect) Arts & Crafts Fair - An easy event to invite others to. Boxed lunches were sold with proceeds going to Haiti Hot Lunch. (Serve & Connect) Independence Day & Christmas Parades - We pass out candy and information. (Connect) Gas Buy Down - We all were suffering from high gas prices, so we paid 10 cents on the gallon, passed out candy and information. (Serve & Connect) Hospitality Area - We refurbished an area to be more welcoming to visitors before and after our worship service where we have information, candy, and coffee available. (Serve & Connect) Signage - new signs were desigend and posted in the community. (Connect) Angel Tree - We buy Christmas gifts for those less fortunate in our community. (Serve) Reverse Offerings - We offer food to a local pantry. (Serve) DVD - An informational DVD is developed each year to be given to visitors. A member may buy one and proceeds are donated locally.
