United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of
Women whose Purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole
persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive
fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation
in global ministries of the church. The UMW meets during the day on the second Thursday of each month. During odd-numbered years the UMW sponsors a Church-wide Mother- Daughter Banquet in May. The UMW sends support to local charities as well as to the District UMW. The cards sent from the church for birthdays and anniversaries are purchased by the UMW, and we help with the funeral lunches. |
